So sad. Nathaniel Marston, an actor known for his roles on ‘One Life To Live’ and ‘As The World Turns,’ is in critical condition after getting into a car accident on Oct. 31.
Nathaniel Marston, 40, was critically injured in a car crash on Halloween night. The soap star, most commonly recognized as As The World Turns‘ Eddie Silva and One Life To Live‘s Michael McBain, is tragically on life support, as his mother, Elizabeth Jackson, announced on her Facebook page Nov. 1. Get more details below.
“Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston,” Elizabeth wrote, as reported by WeLoveSoaps.net. “He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries. Please pray that he will recover and walk again.”
As doctors worked to help Nathaniel, Elizabeth made sure to keep fans updated as well as keep any rumors from spreading. “Just spoke to highway patrol and tribal police. In case rumor mill gets going. Nate was sober according to cops,” she wrote. “Waiting to speak to Dr. Please pray that Nate does not end up a parapalegic..neck broken and fracuted in neck vertabrea 3,4,5,6, and 7. Shoulder broken along with all ribs. Collapsed lung and pnenoma. Please please pray for him.”
After speaking to the doctor, Elizabeth shared even more heartbreaking news about her son’s condition. “Spoke to Nates Dr. In all likely hood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine. Oh my God please give me strength.”
This is just so sad. Although it has been several years since Nathaniel has been on ATWT and OLTL, his time on both shows made him a beloved part of the soap world. Despite possible paralyzation, we hope Nathaniel will live through this tragic accident. Our hearts go out to him and Elizabeth during this difficult time.
HollywoodLifers, keep Nathaniel and his family in your thoughts and send your well wishes below.
