It wouldn’t be Halloween without the ‘TODAY’ show cast’s truly stellar costumes! This year, we saw Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and the gang dress up as characters from ‘The Peanuts Movie,’ and it was totally epic! Click here to see the pics!
No one does Halloween quite like the TODAY show. After dressing up as all of our favorite Saturday Night Live characters last year, the cast and crew returned on Oct. 30 donning looks from upcoming film The Peanuts Movie. Yep, Charlie Brown and co. have taken over! See all of their best looks here!
The entire cast of TODAY loves to celebrate Halloween, and their creativity never disappoints. This year, they dressed up as the beloved comic book characters from the Charlie Brown comics, just one week before the release of the highly-anticipated Peanuts Movie.
Matt Lauer totally slayed as Lucy, wearing her signature, poofy blue dress and a black wig, while Al Roker donned his best Charlie Brown apparel to take on the story’s leading man. Let’s hope Matt plays a little bit nicer with Al than Lucy does with Charlie! Playing the oh-so important role of Charlie’s sister, Sally Brown, was Savannah Guthrie, who totally nailed the look with her poofy pink dress with black polka dots, yellow-blonde wig and massive pink bow. It’s like she came straight out of the movie!
Oh and we can’t forget Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, who totally won our hearts with their take on the lovable characters, Snoopy and Woodstock. Seriously, we didn’t even recognize the beloved morning show hosts in their get-ups, and they totally went all out to really bring it for their viewers. Amazing!
Last Halloween, TODAY gave the crowd a big laugh when they all stepped out dressed as SNL’s most iconic characters in honor of the show’s 40th anniversary. It was hilarious. Between Matt’s Perfect Pat costume to Willie Geist and Tamron Hall‘s epic Spartan Cheerleader routine, we had a hard time deciding who had our favorite costume — and it was the same case again this year!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Who had the ultimate costume on the TODAY show? Let us know!
