Boo! ‘The View’ certainly turned spooky in time for Halloween! The ladies of the show got into the holiday spirit by dressing as their favorite Disney villains on Oct. 30. Whoopi Goldberg made a very convincing Cruella de Vil and Michelle Collins pulled off an impressive Ursula!
Remember to take a little time to enjoy The View — unless it gets too scary! When it came time for the hosts of the show to pick out costumes, Whoopi Goldberg, 59, Paula Faris, 40, Joy Behar, 73, Raven-Symone, 29 and Michelle Collins, 34, all channeled their inner villains!
The ladies of The View have their Halloween game down! During the Oct. 30, each of the hosts dressed up as a different Disney villain. Joy kept it O.G., going as the Evil Queen from Snow White. She really looked like her, so don’t accept any candy — or apples! — from Joy when trick or treating. Paula followed in Joy’s footsteps by keeping it old school. She went as Lady Tremaine (aka The Wicked Stepmother from Cinderella).
Though Whoopi would never wear fur in real life, Halloween is a time to have some fun — so she went as Cruella de Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians. Raven Symone did her best Meryl Streep as The Witch from Into The Woods. It must have been nice for Raven to take a break from the controversy surrounded her remarks that the student dragged by the South Carolina cop was partially to blame.
But perhaps the best evil villain costume of the bunch has to go to Michelle. She was an amazing Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid. It’s like she came up from under the sea to sit next to Raven.
This group costume put every other daytime talk show on notice. The Today Show crew dressed up as The Peanuts gang while Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan’s costumes threatened to “break the internet.” That’s not even counting Ellen DeGeneres, who had a Kardashian-sized surprise for the holiday edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. With so many good costumes, it’s hard to decide won Halloween this year.
Speaking of winning, it was “good vs. evil” during this episode of The View. The ladies had help from their guest, Seth MacFarlane. The villainous ladies faced off against their heroic arch-rivals. We only had to wonder — where was Barbara Walters? She would have made an awesome Elsa from Frozen.
