Candace Cameron Bure knows what it feels like to be home! The actress just took to Facebook to share the first look at the brand new
Tanner Fuller family home, which is similar to the original ‘Full House’ home we loved, but definitely has a more modern twist.
As if we weren’t already so excited for Fuller House, now we’re really getting all the feels. Candace Cameron Bure, AKA DJ Tanner took to Facebook on Oct. 28 to show a pic of the house being built on set for the new Netflix series. Of course, the original exterior shot of the Tanner house was an actual house in San Francisco, but this time, it’s just a set and it looks a lot different.
“They are building the Full House house on the Warner Brother’s back lot! Welcome to my childhood home,” Candace wrote on her Facebook page, standing in front of the new model. And no, it’s doesn’t look like the one in the original opening credits — that one, which was actually repainted recently, was all neutral colors, but this time, the Fuller house is a light blue with white trim!
DJ will of course be living in the house in Netflix’s spinoff, as a windowed mother of three. Naturally, her sister and BFF are also moving in — Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber). We don’t really know much else about the show except that her ex Steve (Scott Weinger) will be around as well as most of the original cast — besides Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, of course, who denied the project.
Eva LaRue has also joined as Danny Tanner’s wife, Juan Pablo di Pace will play Kimmy Gibler’s ex-husband and the newest additions are dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Val Chmerkovskiy who will play love interests for DJ and Steph!
Do you like the new house? Let us know!
