Scott Disick’s rehab counselors have advised him to stay celibate for the next year to help with his recovery, an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Find out if he’s on board or totally refusing!
As part of his treatment, counselors have advised Scott Disick, 32, to “have a year of sobriety” free from substances and sex, a source shared with HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. He needs to successfully complete his celibate year before he can start dating again — find out more!
“Scott‘s being advised to stay celibate for the next year. He’s supposed to have a year of sobriety before he starts dating again and the word is he’s committed to that,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Another recommendation that counselors gave Scott is that he and Kourtney take some time apart, which is why she hasn’t gone to visit him.
“Kourtney didn’t go to the rehab with the kids because there’s just so much baggage between them that still needs to be worked out. She didn’t do it to punish Scott. It was on the recommendation of the counselors at the rehab center. Scott is still in such a fragile place. He needs nothing but positivity. Confronting all the stuff with Kourtney is too much for him right now. He needs to be more solid in his recovery before that happens, but it will happen,” the source added.
“When they do see each other, they’ll meet with the therapists at the rehab. Scott‘s recovery needs to include Kourtney. Whether they stay together or not, they will always be in each other’s lives because of the kids, so things between them do need to get back on solid footing. A lot of forgiveness needs to happen. Scott is very remorseful for what he’s put her through, but it’s not as though Kourtney can just forget everything that’s gone on,” the insider concluded.
