Too funny! Liam Hemsworth was not happy to lose the role of Thor to his big brother Chris Hemsworth and he took to Instagram to have his revenge. See the pic!
Chris Hemsworth, 32, was passed over for the role of Thor when he first auditioned for it and his baby brother, Liam Hemsworth, 25, was a finalist for the part. However, the producers decided to bring Chris back for a second audition and that time he nailed the role, and became the hammer wielding Avenger. Now it seems that the Hunger Games star is finally having his revenge on his older brother for stealing his part with a hilarious Instagram pic.
Liam posted the pic on his Instagram on Oct. 29. The snap shows his dog, Tani, lying next to a well chewed Thor action figure. Tani, a mixed breed pit, has some pretty powerful jaws… and it looks like even Mjolinir, Thor’s hammer, wasn’t enough to protect the Norse God from being thoroughly chomped!
The caption reads, “Tani’s favorite chew toy,” and includes the hashtag “#Thorsday.” While we’re sure that Liam meant it all in good fun, we’d hate to see what Chris has planned for a Liam action figure from The Hunger Games.
Liam Loses It When Interviewer Confuses Him For Brother Chris
Of course it’s not all fun and games in this sibling rivalry. Liam became furious with an interviewer who he thought had called him by his brother’s name. Miley‘s ex stopped on July 8 to speak to HitFix’s Chris Eggertsen while they were on the Comic-Con red carpet and when Chris introduced himself, Liam thought the reporter confused him for his brother!
“You call me Chris?” Liam immediately asked and wow, if Liam’s look could kill, the reporter would definitely be dead! Yikes. “Liam,” Liam reminded the reporter before asking, “You called me Chris, didn’t you?” Chris quickly cleared up the confusion and the interview resumed, but it was clear that Liam did not like being mistaken for his older brother. Noted!
What do you think HollywoodLifers? Was Liam being too hard on Chris? Sound off in the comments below!
