Halloween 2015 is almost here and we can’t wait to see what our fave celebs have in store for us this year! There’s nothing better than when famous people spoof OTHER famous people for their costumes, so for #TBT this week, we’re looking back at the stars who’ve done it best in the past.
Kelly Ripa and Nick Lachey as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West? Beyonce and Blue Ivy as Janet and Michael Jackson? In past years, celebs pulled out ALL the stops to dress like each other on Halloween, and we hope it’s no different this year! Click through the gallery to relive some of the best instances where your favorite stars have tried to portray your other favorite stars.
Miley Cyrus LOVES to show skin, so it’s no surprise that she chose to rock one of the most controversial red carpet looks of all time for Halloween in 2013 — Lil Kim’s 1999 VMA Awards look! The outfit featured a one-sleeved, purple pantsuit with nothing put a nipple pasty on the top left half of her body, and of course a bright purple wig to match. The rapper totally approved too, and tweeted Miley that she looked “GORGEOUS!!”
Just two months before the holiday in 2013, Miley herself gave the world a reason to dress up after the VMAs. Yep, it was the year she twerked with Robin Thicke in more than one out-there ensemble, and fellow stars took notice. Paris Hilton wore her hair in double buns and rocked that crazy silver leotard just like the “Wrecking Ball” singer, and Harry Styles wore nothing but nude spandex shorts and a foam finger to portray another one of her looks.
And we wouldn’t expect anything less than a perfect Halloween costume from Kim, and she went all out in 2014! The reality star dressed as her friend and icon Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue. Her short blonde wig and black and white dress were totally on point. Love it! Click through the gallery to see which other stars dressed up as fellow celebs in past years — it’s pretty epic!
