Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) is under fire after a street protest goes wrong, and it leaves his family and his job vulnerable. He’s placed on modified duty, and he doesn’t want this to be the end of his career. HollywoodLife.com has an EXCLUSIVE clip of the Oct. 30 episode, where Jamie and Frank (Tom Selleck) argue over the new Reagan fiasco.
Jamie goes out to Frank’s house, and Frank thinks it’s because they’re going to see Chinatown together. Not so much. He’s been placed on modified assignment, and he’s not looking forward to what he’s going to have to do.
When Frank asks if Jamie wants him to start pulling strings for him, Jamie says, “No, but this feels like I’m getting extra lashes for appearances sake.”
Frank insists that this is what would happen to any officer in this situation. Jamie can’t get off easy just because he’s a Reagan. “You are my son, but you’re also a member of this department. And we have a whole system set up to prove guilt or innocence. If we ask other people to trust it, we have to do the same,” Frank says.
Everything is left up in the air after their fight. Frank’s Chinatown offer still stands, but Jamie doesn’t look so ready to move on from what’s happened. Will this whole situation tear the Reagan family apart?
Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
