Anna Duggar is actually rejecting her father-in-law, Jim Bob Duggar’s, offer to buy she and her disgraced husband, Josh Duggar, a new house to help save their marriage. In fact, at this point, Anna simply ‘can’t be bought,’ a source revealed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com!
Jim Bob Duggar, 50, “is desperate to keep” the marriage alive between his son, Josh Duggar, 27, and his daughter-in-law, Anna Duggar, 27, and apparently that means buying a 3,800 square foot mansion for the pair. However, following Josh’s many indiscretions, which included the admission that he had molested four of his sisters as a teen, what’s important to Anna is “real healing,” and the mother of four isn’t about to “put on the happy family show” just so she can live in a big house, a source EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife. We have the details.
“Jim Bob is desperate to keep Josh and Anna’s marriage alive,” an insider EXCLUSIVELY explained to HollywoodLife. “He wants to see them back together, all happy and smiley, but it’s not going to be that easy, at least not if Anna can help it.”
Apparently, to Jim Bob, saving Josh and Anna’s marriage can be done with materialism. Well, he’d be wrong. “A big fancy house is not that impressive, and [Anna] says she simply can’t be bought,” added the source. “Anna has a new sense of self and isn’t going to put on the happy family show just to please her in-laws. She feels like they are more concerned with image than with the reality of the situation.”
Way to stand your ground, Anna! However, just because she isn’t jumping at the chance to accept the house, it doesn’t mean that she isn’t ruling out a reconciliation altogether. “She is considering her options“, added the source. “She’s more concerned with real healing than merely cleaning up the image to make the Duggar in-laws happy and TV-presentable again.”
Do you think Anna should be with Josh?
