Donald Trump declared that gun-free zones are a catastrophe at the at the Republican Presidential Debate tonight. He said he’s packing a lot of the time and wants all of his employees to carry their own weapons!
Donald Trump, 69, made a shocking statement at the Republican Presidential Debate, held on Oct. 28 at the University of Colorado. He said that mentally ill criminals search for gun-free zones to commit acts of violence, and that he thinks his own employees should be armed!
When asked about his stance on gun control laws, Trump was quick to assert his bold opinion: “I think gun-free zones are a catastrophe. They are a feeding frenzy for sickos.” He went on to say that gun-free zones are “target practice for the sickos and for the mentally ill. They look around for gun-free zones”. When a moderator noted that Trump has a permit to carry, his response was downright boastful: “I do carry occasionally. Sometimes a lot. I like to be unpredictable, so people don’t know if I’m carrying,” he smirked. Unpredictable Donald Trump with a gun? Sounds like a nightmare.
Trump was on relatively good behavior the rest of the debate, though he did blast his opponent, John Kasich. John attacked Trump first, saying he’s unqualified to be president, and of course Donald fired back. In typical mean-girl style, Trump told John he went “nasty” because he’s behind in the polls. Another entertaining moment was when Trump was asked about his biggest weakness: “I trust people too much. I’m too trusting, and when they let me down, if they let me down, I never forgive. I find it very very hard to forgive people who deceive me.” The lesson here is to be wary of deceiving Trump: he’s unpredictable, he’s got a gun and he doesn’t forgive.
HollywoodLifers, do you agree with Donald Trump’s view of gun control laws?
