‘AHS: Hotel’: Here’s What Dinner With The Most Famous Serial Killers Looks Like

What is Devil’s Night at the Hotel Cortez? Well, Det. John Lowe was on the VIP list as the only one alive, among a table of the most legendary serial killers.

Let’s just dive into Mr. March (Evan Peters)’s “Devil’s Night” dinner that Det. Lowe (Wes Bentley) landed an invite to. Here’s who else was on the guest list: Aileen Wuornos (Lily Rabe), John Wayne Gacy (John Carol Lynch), Richard Ramirez (Anthony Ruivivar), Jeffrey Dahmer (Seth Gable), and the Zodiac Killer.

These were the killers that made a mark, that always listened to Mr. March’s advice through their lives. He actually considered him his “evils.” The group is bonded together by all killing a man that Sally (Sarah Paulson) brought in. When John tries to stop it, he wakes up alone and Sally tells him it was all a hallucination. Mr. March didn’t seem too thrilled.

During the episode, Lowe’s wife, Alex (Chloe Sevigny) brought her son home only to find out he was a little different: you know, eating the dog and all. Naturally, she brought him back and found out what he was and that there was no return. The Countess (Lady Gaga) explained that all her children came to her when they needed saving. The only way for Alex to get him back was to get changed herself. So, she had The Countess change her.

We also found out the backstory of Miss Evers (Mare Winningham). Her son was taken from her on Halloween — she didn’t dress him up in a costume, but cut eye holes in a sheet; fitting for a maid. The bloody sheet was all that was left of him.

Fun Facts This Week

*John later put on all of his clown makeup — oddly enough John Carol Lynch also played Twisty in Freak Show.

*I have to point out a magnificent quote by Mr. Gacy: “Just because you have 30 bodies buried in your crawl space, don’t mean you can’t have a really terrific rec room and be a respectable businessman.”

*Richard Remeriz was an actual resident at the Cecil Hotel, the hotel that The Cortez is based on.
