You know you’ve been hoping to see Chris Pratt take on Harrison Ford’s ‘Indiana Jones’ role, but could the rumors be true?
Indiana Jones producer Frank Marshall definitely has something to say about the rumors that Chris Pratt is on the shortlist to replace Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones series. And it may not be what you want to hear. Well, depending on what age group you like.
“There are a lot of rumors,” Frank told Total Film (via DenofGeek). “We haven’t even sat down to talk about Indy yet… at some point we’ll sit down. But there’s a bunch of people who could probably take the baton.”
So, he’s open to recasting? Well, not so much. Frank added that they are “not doing the Bond thing where we’re going to call somebody else Indiana Jones… we have to figure this out.”
Alright, so we were really hoping that the Jurassic World star would take over as Harrison someday (not yet though since Harrison’s totally still got it!) However, Chris wasn’t exactly jumping at it either. “You have to look at it and be like, ‘Is this right for me?’” Chris said in an interview withEntertainment Weekly. “Is it right for me to do this? And is it perfect? You don’t want to be the guy who f–s that up. It’s pretty crazy that people hear that and they don’t go ‘What?!? That f—ing dude!’ What has happened in my life that you can see THAT?!”
Ok well it’s a little surprising that Frank says he will have a meeting about it, but doesn’t want to recast? Hm, I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Do you still have hope for Chris Pratt?
