I’m so upset that Hayes and Emma were sent home on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ — they were just hitting their stride! Here’s why I think someone else should have been eliminated.
The Oct. 26 episode of Dancing with the Stars was week 7, and by now, the competition is pretty fierce. The lowest score awarded was a 24, so the contestants really need to improve every week. Hayes Grier has been consistently getting better with partner Emma Slater, which is why it was so heartbreaking to see them go.

Last night was Hayes’ best night yet, so it’s so unfortunate he was voted off. He transformed into a werewolf for his Waltz and got great critiques from the judges. Bruno Tonioli said: “You’re the most charming and romantic teen wolf since Jacob Black in Twilight.”
Carrie Ann Inaba said: “You really improved and your chemistry together is great.” Julianne Hough told him he had matured and said, “tonight, you were a leading man.” They got a 26 out of 30, landing them in the middle of the leaderboard. They also excelled in their team dance. They got a perfect 30, with Julianne calling out Hayes by name as standing out in the performance.
He showed so much maturity and depth with his dance — remember, he is only 15!

I think Tamar Braxton and Valentin Chmerkovskiy should have been eliminated instead. They got a 24 for their Foxtrot, and Tamar showed a slightly unlikable side of herself in the package, when she said during practice she is “the best dancer in the competition.” I don’t think she has the best attitude and she doesn’t seem to be doing the show for the right reasons.
