Starbucks’ ‘Bloody’ New Vampire Halloween Frappucino — Check It Out

OMG, guys — our Halloween is about to get a whole lot sweeter! Starbucks has just added a new “vampire-inspired” Frappucino flavor to its menu in honor of the spooky holiday and this one looks scary good. Get the details here!

If you thought that October was going to be all about the Pumpkin Spice Latte, you thought wrong! Starbucks, the purveyors of all our favorite fall beverages, has just released the new limited-edition Frappula drink to its menu and it has even the most die-hard of PSL fans rejoicing.  Get ready to sink your fangs into something sweet!


The cleverly named “vampire-inspired” drink is described in the company’s official press release as a “blended crème beverage” that starts with mocha sauce and whipped cream at the bottom of the cup, followed by the chain’s white chocolate mocha Frappuccino. The spooky drink gets topped with raspberry syrup to give it that bloody Halloween effect. Yum!

Sadly, those looking to indulge in the sweet treat will need to run, not walk to the nearest Starbucks as the company will only be serving the punny-named drink until November 1. Of course, you could always order it after that date, you’ll just have to get a little creative and order it off the secret menu.

In addition to the Frappula, Starbucks has also recently introduced several delicious new flavors including the fall-friendly Toasted Graham Latte, its first in four years. The coffee chain even allowed Seattle Seahawks player Marshawn Lynch, 29, to craft his own specialty drink: the Beast Mode Frappucino. The celebrity-approved beverage was introduced on Oct. 20 as a colorful concoction that includes a double mocha base with protein powder (for the athletes out there), combined with a hint of cream and mint, coated with purple berry drizzle, and topped with whipped cream and a dash of matcha. The partnership between the NFL star and Starbucks is a philanthropic endeavor aimed at empowering youth. For each Beast Mode Frap that is sold, the coffee giant will send a $0.24 donation to Lynch’s 1st Family Foundation. So go ahead — drink up!
