Could Caryl finally get their moment in the sun? When HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY with ‘The Walking Dead’ super fan Yvette Nicole Brown, she revealed she thinks season six was made for a Carol and Daryl hook up!
Yvette Nicole Brown, 44, is one of the best and most frequent Talking Dead guests, so HollywoodLife.com was delighted to talk all things The Walking Dead with her at the season six premiere on Oct. 9 in New York City. Of course we couldn’t resist asking which “ship” couple she wants to see hook up in the new season, and Yvette was more than happy to share her theories!
Caryl in season six? Um, yes please! Not only would it be about time, but after everything those two have been through it would be nice to see them get a little, um, action. Ahem. Anyway, we spoke to The Odd Couple actress Yvette Nicole Brown about Carol and Daryl as well as Rick and Michonne, and she revealed she thinks season six will be all about Caryl!
“I want to say I would rather see Carol and Daryl this year, because Rick and Michonne is going to happen. I feel like Carol and Daryl we have to root for a little bit more because they are like two planets colliding,” Yvette told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But I think Rick and Michonne because of that Carl connection, I think that’s definitely going to happen.”
Hmm. She definitely has a point, Walking Dead fans! About both potential couples, actually. Plus, as many of us noticed in the season six trailer, Daryl gets himself into a little bit of trouble. Could nearly losing his life push him straight into Carol’s arms?
But What About That Seth Gilliam Beef?
While chatting with Yvette she also opened up about her dire hate for Father Gabriel, played by actor Seth Gilliam who also frequently appears on MTV’s Teen Wolf. But, it seems like some people are getting her dislikes confused!
“Let me say this, I was talking to Seth Gilliam who plays Father Gabriel and I feel like I need to make this clear. I love Seth Gilliam, he is an amazing actor, I have loved him in everything,” Yvette explained. “I hate Father Gabriel. And that means he’s an amazing actor… he’s such a nice man that he could make us hate that character.”
So is that clear, Walking Dead fans? Yvette is pro Seth, anti Gabriel. Got it? Good. Be sure to see Yvette on Talking Dead Sunday night, Oct. 25, at 10pm ET right after episode three of The Walking Dead airs!
