She was reluctant at first, but Khloe Kardashian DID attend big Kim’s baby shower on Oct. 25 after Lamar Odom persuaded her to go from his hospital bed, HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal. Find out all the details.
We were as surprised as anyone to see Khloe Kardashian, 31, mingling with her sisters at Kim Kardashian’s baby shower on Oct. 25, but it was at Lamar Odom’s insistence that Khloe even went in the first place, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. “Lamar insisted Khloe go to Kim’s baby shower because she has done so much for him and needs some downtime,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He said that family were the most important thing and told her that he shouldn’t let her big sister down. Khloe was reluctant at first, and didn’t want to leave his side, but Lamar told her he would be ok and she can visit him afterwards.”
Khloe has not left Lamar’s side as he continues to recover from an alleged drug overdose after a reported 3-day drug and drinking binge at a Nevada brothel earlier this month. She has kept vigil by his bedside, and now it’s only fair she has a bit of downtime. We’re completely in agreement with Lamar. Khloe’s done everything she can for him as he fights for his life, but she needs her own time away from the hospital with her family.
Meanwhile, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY told you, Lamar’s kids, Destiny, 17, and Lamar Odom Jr., 13, are “eternally grateful” for Khloe for her support during their father’s scary hospitalization.
“Lamar Jr. and Destiny are really grateful for everything Khloe has done for their father so far,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They’re aware that without Khloe, things might not have worked out as well for their father as they have, and they will always remember that and be eternally grateful.”
