Emblem3 fans, this is your lucky day! The trio is getting back together, confirmed by Drew Chadwick! We can’t wait to hear new music from the ‘Chloe’ hitmakers!
Emblem3 split in 2014, but it looks like our prayers have been answered: the band is back together! Drew Chadwick, 23, confirmed to HollywoodLife.com that Emblem3 is coming back, better than ever. What kind of new music do you think they’ll cook up this time?
Drew hit up the Maxim Halloween party on October 24 in Los Angeles, and treated HollywoodLife.com to a huge surprise: after over a year apart, Emblem3 is definitely reuniting. How exciting! The former X-Factor contestants hinted on their Instagram account on October 21 that something huge would be happening on November 3 — and that it can only be accessed by going to their website.
This smells like a brand-new album to us! We’ve been dying without fresh music from Drew and the Stromberg brothers — Wesley and Keaton. Though Drew embarked on a solo career, prompting the band’s split in 2014, it seems like life was better as a band.
Emblem3 also released a cover of Adele’s “Hello” on October 24, and the video spelled out something interesting. The video, set to their wonderful acoustic cover, shows the guys chilling in the Hollywood hills. It becomes clear by their intimacy, and the emotional message of the song, that this is Drew apologizing to the band — and his fans — for leaving for so long.
Wesley and Keaton released an EP together when they were just Emblem2, called Forever Together. When Drew went solo, he spoke to HollywoodLife.com about his decision. He said he wanted to “make a mark,” and let people know who he was as an artist, outside of a band. You have to respect him for that. While we wished Drew the best solo, we’re so excited to see Emblem3 together again!
HollywoodLifers, are you excited that Emblem3 is getting back together? Tell us in the comments!
