Is Meek Mill planning to reignite his feud with Drake? Their drama may have subsided in recent weeks, but a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the rapper may be planning another epic diss just in time for Drizzy 29th birthday!
And here we thought the war between Drake, 28, and Meek Mill, 28, was finally behind us! Eh, not so much. As it turns out, Meek may be gearing up to drop another epic diss on the “Hotline Bling” rapper, and a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that’s it’s going to be timed perfectly with Drake’s 29th birthday on Oct. 24. Find out what he’s planning here!
“Even though their feud has publicly ended for the most part, Meek
still thinks Drake’s a litte bi**h,” a source tells Hollywoodlife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Meek has a good laugh with his friends and other rappers at Drake’s expense. I mean, just look at Drake. His face is one big joke and the way he dances – man, he lost all street cred with those wack 60’s moves. Meek really wants to let this feud end but he’s tempted to shade Drake real hard on his birthday tomorrow and crush him with an epic diss track. It would be the best present Meek could ever give Drake! He’s in the studio constantly and is really thinking about dropping something epic on Drake, but he keeps going back and forth in his head asking if himself if he really wants to ignite that fire again. Everybody is dissing Drake right now and Meek’s seriously thinking about getting in on the act.”
Hilarious dance moves aside, something tells us Meek is still probably a little irked with the “Hotline Bling” rapper after he called him out in a major way during his September 26 show at the Landmark Music Festival in Washington, D.C. In video footage from the show, Drake doesn’t hold back as the crowd starts chanting “f-k Meek Mill,” telling them, “Don’t worry about it; he’s already dead!” So much shade!
Of course, that’s not to say that Meek didn’t have it coming to him. Just days before Drake blasted him on stage, the future Ms. Nicki Minaj dropped a preview of the latest song off his new mixtape, which seemed to reference the rapper with the verse: “Couple them bodies get dropped and you n—as’ll tell/ And I made an M in a week but they tellin’ me I took a L,”Meek raps, before starting on the hook. “Money, power, respect, eating breakfast on a jet.”
In case you didn’t get it,“I made an M” likely means he made a million, and “I took a L” definitely means he took a loss. It’s all about how the public has perceived the outcome of his fight with Drake. Though it looks like Drake came out on top, Meek is apparently the real winner here. He’s eating breakfast on a jet after all!
We have a bad feeling that this feud isn’t going to be ending any time soon. What do you think HollywoodLifers — Is it time for Drake and Meek to bury the hatchet once and for all?
