Should Lamar Odom recover from his numerous ailments, following a reported drug overdose, he’s going to have at least one former job to return to. His recovery will be a big plotline on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians,’ HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
Lamar Odom, 35, is about to become a reality star again. Despite the fact that he has a long road to recovery and is still undergoing emergency surgeries, he’s going to be a big part of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as the show moves forward with Season 11. Wife Khloe Kardashian, 31, has been by his bedside ever since he ended up in a coma Oct. 13 and has pretty much made Lamar’s care and well being her No. 1 priority. And now, her family’s reality show is looking to capitalize on the situation and HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details! “The show is just weeks away from coming back on TV and Lamar and his recovery, as well as the situation, will be a big storyline. They will not show him until he is TV ready, but his recovery will be a major part of the show moving forward,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. We already told you that Kris Jenner, 59, is looking to televise any marriage renewal vows between Khloe and Lamar now that they’ve called off their divorce, so we’re not surprised to hear that Kris wants to get Lamar back on the show as soon as possible.
The show is going to have a long wait ahead before Lamar is “camera ready.” The former NBA star underwent two emergency surgeries on Oct. 22, TMZ reported. The website said the procedures involved chest issues, but it was unclear what organs were involved. Lamar suffered from heart damage when he was initially hospitalized in Las Vegas after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. He’s also currently suffering from a respiratory infection. The website also reported that the surgeries have left Lamar in a “fragile” state of mind.
Khloe herself is doing her part to make sure no one sneaks into Lamar’s hospital room to get a photo of the ailing athlete. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, “Khloe’s not only Lamar’s wife, she’s also acting like she’s his guard dog. She doesn’t let anyone see him unless they’re cleared through her first. Even the doctors have a password for her when they knock on his door to check on him. She doesn’t want people stressing him out, trying to talk to him and bother him. And she certainly is standing on guard, willing to take anyone down with her bare hands if they try to take a picture of Lamar.”
HollywoodLifers, do you think Keeping Up With The Kardashians should film Lamar’s recovery?
