Yes, Bryce Dallas Howard will be back to save the world (again) in ‘Jurassic World 2,’ but these time she’s gonna pass on the 4-inch pumps. Probably a good idea!
“#NoHeels2018” is the text message Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow texted Bryce one the sequel was confirmed, letting her know she would be a little more comfortable on set this time around. In an interview with Collider, Bryce not only confirms that her character, Claire, will be skipping the heels in the sequel, but she also explains how the dinosaur butt kicking woman ended up running through the jungle in heels in the first place.
“She never intended to go in the jungle. And if she was in flats, that would be a cheat. That would be something where it’s like, oh, she managed to get her hands on some flats,” Bryce explained. “No, Claire never thought she was going to end up traipsing through the jungle, let alone outrunning a T. rex.”
Okay, you have to admit… that TOTALLY makes sense. Claire was just going to work, it’s not her fault she was dressed to impressed instead of dressed to run for her life!
