‘Back To The Future’: Marty McFly & Doc Diss Selfies, Donald Trump & 2015 On ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

‘Back To The Future’ Day just ended in the best way possible — with a hilarious skit, featuring Marty McFly and Doc Brown, on the Oct. 21 episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’ In the skit, Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reprise their roles and diss everything about the year 2015. Watch!

2015 isn’t as amazing as Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) predicted in Back To The Future 2. In fact, they think it “kind of sucks.” Not only did they poke fun at selfies, cronuts, and pretty much everything else about the year 2015 while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live Oct. 21, but Donald Trump got dissed in a major way!

In the middle of Jimmy Kimmel‘s monologue, a DeLorean appeared and Michael J. Fox, along with Christopher Lloyd, popped out to reprise their roles for the audience on Back To The Future Day — signifying the point in time that Marty traveled to in BTTF2 (Oct. 21, 2015). And they were certainly upset with how 2015 turned out, as it’s a far cry from what they predicted it to be in the movies. Their characters winced at the lack of flying cars and hoverboards, and selfies, but seemed to like smartphones. Earlier in the episode, Michael showed off the first-ever pair of self-lacing Nikes!

“If you don’t mind my asking, what the hell have you guys been doing for 30 years?” Marty asked. “Doc, it seems like 2015 kind of sucks.”

And then, Donald Trump, who’s currently running for President of the United States, was mocked. “If Trump wins the presidency it’ll be like Back to the Future 2 when Biff owned everything around you,” Jimmy joked, referencing the villain from the film franchise. Jimmy is obviously still upset about Donald Trump cancelling his appearance on the talk show just hours before he was scheduled to show up on Oct. 20.

We loved the Back To The Future sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but we’re sad for this special day to end, so it’s definitely bittersweet. This might be the last excitement we get from BTTF — at least until the inevitable remake comes our way.

What did YOU think of the Back To The Future skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live, HollywoodLifers? Did you love it?
