Caitlyn Jenner is getting up close and personal! The dynamic transgender activist is embarking on a five-day speaking tour, kicking off in 2016, to share just a little more of her experience. Could she be more amazing?
Caitlyn Jenner, 65, will start a five-stop speaking tour, called Up Close and Personal, in Toronto, Canada, on February 22, 2016. The tour, part of the Unique Lives & Experiences series, will be a can’t-miss event that divulges a little more about the I Am Cait star’s life, and her journey to finding her true self.
Cait’s not a rockstar, but she might as well be. There’s nothing that this brave woman can’t do, and she’s truly proving it! In February 2016, Cait will set out on a tour of inspirational talks, hitting five cities in one whirlwind month: Toronto, Vancouver, Denver, San Francisco and Seattle. Damn!
Caitlyn’s an old pro at public speaking, though; this is going to be a breeze. For years, Cait spoke to underprivileged youth and encouraged students to get involved with sports; remember that KUWTK episode where she dragged her daughters along to make them appreciate what she did? This ain’t no thing.
There’s no word yet on what Cait will talk about doing her tour, but it could involve her activism with the trans community. Cait has been very outspoken since coming out as trans in April 2015, about both her struggles and those of less privileged individuals. When she accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs in July 2015, she remarked on just that in her rousing, emotional speech.
She’s a truly beautiful speaker, and anyone who’s lucky enough to see her on tour is going to have a fantastic experience seeing her. Also on tour part of the Unique Lives and Experience series: astronaut Chris Hadfield, who captured the awe and charm of the world while tweeting to Earth from the International Space Station! You’ll have to travel to England to see those talks, though.
Tickets for Cait’s tour are already on sale here. HollywoodLifers, are you excited that Cait’s going on tour? Tell us in the comments and take our poll!
