Don’t mess with Beyonce, even if you’re the one dressing her! Queen Bey owns every red carpet she sets foot on, and her stylist quickly learned not to get between her and the shutterbugs on Oct. 20. The singer scolded her fussy stylist, telling her to ‘stop it’ as she tried adjusting Bey’s super revealing gown. Awkward!
Beyonce, 34, is always the epitome of poise and glamour when she walks a red carpet. Unfortunately, her stylist didn’t get the memo that if the Queen’s gown needs adjusting — even if it’s to avoid a near nip slip — it’s not to be done while she’s ON the red carpet in full view of the photographers she’s posing for! Beyonce actually had to tell her stylist to “stop it” and go away while photographers captured it all on camera.
Beyonce wowed on the Tidal X 10/20 concert red carpet in Brooklyn on Tuesday. She wore a plunging burgundy gown by Philipp Plein that showed off her amazing assets. But her stylist was a little worried that the double taping job, which kept her revealing gown in place, may not have held up. To avoid a nip slip, she took to adjusting Bey’s gown while the superstar was in the midst of posing on the red carpet. That’s a pretty big fail in the world of dressing one of the world’s most stylish and confident women!
While shutterbugs were heard calling out, “Right here Queen, right here Queen,” Beyonce flashed her million dollar smile and started posing away. Unfortunately, her stylist jumped in to do some last minute adjustments that clearly didn’t go over well with the star. Ever the pro, Bey kept smiling, but clearly said, “Stop it,” to the hapless assistant who then immediately jumped away and looked terrified by her epic red carpet fail.
Luckily, Beyonce appears to have had a sense of humor about it, even though it sure didn’t seem like it at the time. The “Single Ladies” singer posted a short video of the incident to her Instagram page. So while she may have been mortified at the time, she at least was able to laugh it off after the fact. Either that or she put it up as a warning to future stylists to not mess with her outfits once she steps in front of a wall of photographers!
HollywoodLifers, do you think it was wrong for Beyonce’s stylist to adjust her gown while on the red carpet?
