‘The Voice’: Pharrell Goes Country By Stealing [SPOILER] As Battle Rounds End

The Battle Rounds are complete on ‘The Voice’! The coaches have narrowed their teams down to 10 contestants each, with Pharrell waiting until the very last minute to use his final Steal, giving one talented artist new life in the competition. Read our full recap!

Pharrell was waiting for someone special to use his second and final Steal of the Battle Rounds on — and he found her on the Oct. 20 episode of The Voice. As the second round of competition concluded, the “Happy” singer kept things exciting by keeping his one save until the very end, and his choice was a pretty unlikely — but totally genius — pairing!

For the first battle match-up, Adam Levine paired up Amanda Ayala and Shelby Brown. The ladies absolutely nailed it, leaving the Maroon 5 frontman with a tough decision about who should fill the final spot on his team. He chose to keep Shelby, and with Pharrell being super picky about saving his Steal for the right person, Amanda was sadly sent home.

Pharrell’s duo, Jubal and Amanda, took on Amy Vachal next, and all the coaches were beyond blown away by the incredible performance. But it’s Amy who will move onto the Knockout rounds, after she proved she could hold her own even against a team of two. The singer also kept Darius Scott, while Blake Shelton completed his team with Nadjah Nicole and Gwen Stefani closed out hers by choosing Summer Schappell.

Team Blake had the final match-up of the night, with Emily Ann Roberts taking on Morgan Frazier. Both ladies totally slayed their duet of “I’m That Kind Of Girl,” but the country crooner could only choose one! He went with Emily Ann, and finally, Pharrell found the moment he’d been waiting for — he used his final steal on Morgan, adding a country singer to his team for the first time.

Now, all the teams are finally complete, and next week, the singers will go head-to-head with one of their own teammates AGAIN so the coaches can dwindle their teams down to six members each (they’ll also each have one Steal) before the Live Shows.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Pharrell used his steal on the right person? Which coach do YOU think has the best team?
