The flirtation between ‘The Voice’ judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani has been undeniable, sparking countless rumors of romance. Now, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Blake ‘thinks the world’ of Gwen, but what does that mean for their relationship? Get the details here!
Are they, or aren’t they? That’s the one question everyone has been asking throughout this season of The Voice, as Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 45, continue to spark dating rumors with their constant on-air flirting. Everyone around them has noticed how close they’ve gotten since splitting from their spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale respectively. Now, HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on why the country singer “thinks the world” of Gwen and what it means for their rumored relationship!
“If you don’t get along with Blake then you are the problem,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He is the coolest and nicest person and his friendship with the cast and crew is unmatched. Blake thinks the world of Gwen and he loves the friendship they have with each other. He holds the friendship very highly — Gwen is a friend for life!”
It’s hard to imagine the two really are just friends considering of flirtatious they’ve gotten with each other since the start of the show. “Blake and Gwen flirt like crazy! They had a great rapport right away, but it didn’t really cross over into flirting until they both split from their spouses,” a show insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Now, it’s full throttle. They have all these inside jokes and we tease Gwen because she laughs waaay too hard at Blake’s jokes. She has this little giggle that she does and it’s so cute. Blake loves to come up behind her, cover her eyes with his hands and do an Adam Levine impression or something. It just cracks her up.”
Still, while Blake and Gwen’s on-air flirting may be undeniable, it appears that the dating rumors are just that: rumors! “They aren’t dating, they aren’t getting married,” an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They are friends who happen to be going through divorce. They are doing fine, but they aren’t doing each other.”
Well, dating or not, we can’t deny that we love seeing these two go back-and-forth with each other on The Voice. Whether she’s throwing her shoe at Blake or he’s mimicking her plea for a contestant, these two have never failed to entertain. For now, we suppose that’ll have to do.
