May god bless and keep Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman in our lives forever. The ‘Parenthood’ mother and daughter duo are teaming up on an all-new movie! Life is truly good.
Parenthood may have sadly ended, but Lauren Graham, 48, and Mae Whitman, 27, are not done working with each other. The pair, who played Sarah Braverman and Amber Holt on the beloved NBC series, are reuniting for the upcoming film, The Royal We. While we’ll always been waiting on the Parenthood movie, this will certainly do!
The movie they’ll be working on is The Royal We, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is based on the book by Jessica Morgan and Heather Cocks. Lauren will be writing the script, and Mae may end up playing one of the roles. They’ll both produce the movie. This is so exciting I can hardly stand it.
The book is inspired by Kate Middleton and Prince William’s romance. It follows an American girl studying at Oxford who falls in love with a student, who is also the future King of England. The prince has a red-headed brother (Harry!), and the girl has a sister. Ahem, Pippa Middleton.
Mae and Lauren worked together for six seasons on Parenthood. Sarah and Amber’s relationship was one of the many, many highlights of the series. The show ended in 2015, and it will never be forgotten.
The series also starred Craig T. Nelson, Erika Christensen, Dax Shepard, Peter Krause and Monica Potter as part of the Braverman clan.
Long live Lauren and Mae! We can’t wait to see what these two come up with together. The movie is bound to be amazing.
