Lamar Odom: Khloe Kardashian Has Told Family She’s Determined To Watch Him Heal

This is what love looks like. Following his near-death experience, Khloe Kardashian has vowed to stay by her ex-husband, Lamar Odom’s, side as he begins his long road to recovery. In fact, a source revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY that Khloe believes it is her ‘calling’ to help him heal.

Khloe Kardashian, 31, has been with her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, 35, in Las Vegas basically nonstop since he was found unconscious on Oct. 13HollywoodLife has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Khloe is in it for the long haul, telling her family, as well as Lamar, that they both “need” each other, and she is ready to help him heal. We have the emotional details.

“She’s in this to the very end,” a source explained to us EXCLUSIVELY of Khloe’s devotion to Lamar. “She’s told Lamar and her family that she wants to do this– that she needs to this– for Lamar and for herself,” they added.

Khloe feels so strongly about being there for Lamar in this time, that she actually thinks a higher power has positioned her to do so. “It’s her calling,” added the source. “Lamar needs her more than ever and at the same time, she needs him too. They’ve come this far together and for Khloe, she’s determined to see him heal all the way through.” The lengths that Khloe is going to in order to be by Lamar’s side, is such a clear display of how much he means to her. It’s very touching.

Khloe is committed to helping Lamar get better, and she is fully aware that it won’t be an easy journey. To make sure Lamar gets the care he needs, she is prepared to turn her home into a place where he can recoup. “Khloe knows the hard work is ahead,” said the source. “Doctors have told her Lamar’s going to need an extensive amount of rehabilitation, perhaps a half a year even, and she’s preparing for that by turning her home into a rehabilitation center.”
