The anticipation is killing us! Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Pictures have teased a new ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ movie poster featuring Han Solo, Princess Leia and a host of new characters. Bask in the ‘Star Wars’ glory now!
OMG! This is just too exciting! We just can’t wait for the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, which is set to drop during ESPN‘s Monday Night Football on Oct. 19. But in the meantime, a EPIC new movie poster has been released, and it doesn’t disappoint whatsoever.
The wait isn’t too long now, we’re counting the days down until the movie’s Dec. 18 release, and this little teaser of a movie poster has us wanting so much more. Featuring our old, but not obsolete favorite characters, we have Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca — all taking center stage place and looking as fierce as ever. But where is Luke (Mark Hamill)?
One of the film’s villains, the menacing Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), is also featured in his garb looking demonic and frightening. And it wouldn’t be a Star Wars poster if there weren’t any Storm Troopers thrown in for good measure, too.
With the mix of old and new, the Star Wars: The Force Awakens director, J.J. Abrams, has made sure he’s accommodating fans of the original movies too. It’s going to be great!
“A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort,” a source told Making Star Wars.
The source didn’t say if he will be in costume as Darth Vader, or if he will appear as Anakin Skywalker. But, the same source revealed that a “fully operational Darth Vader Chest piece along with the helmet” has reportedly made it to the creature shop for Episode VIII. Oh my!
But what do you think of this movie poster, HollywoodLifers? Has it got you even more excited for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie? Let us know in the comment below!
