Lamar Odom’s ex-partner, and the mother of his two children, shared her emotional praise and thanks that her former love is finally on the mend. Liza Morales rejoiced that her prayers were answered, and that her children may have their father back safe and sound.

Liza Morales, 36, took to Twitter on the night of October 16, shortly after Lamar Odom, 35, woke from his days-long coma, to thank followers for their support and prayers. Her heartfelt message showed the deep love and care she still feels for Lamar, and her utter joy that he may be on the road to complete recovery. Click through to see her tweet.

“The TRUTH is God is good. All the time. Continued prayers for my children and their father. Thank you for the support and well wishes,” Liza tweeted. Lamar awoke from a 72-hour coma on the 16th after an alleged massive drug overdose and several strokes; it wasn’t clear when he was going to emerge from his comatose state — or ever. Her prayers, and her well-wishers’, were truly answered!

Since Lamar slipped into a coma on October 13, Liza and their children, Destiny and Lamar Jr., have been waiting patiently by his side, looking for signs of improvement and hopeful recovery. Khloe Kardashian flew the family out from New York, as well as Lamar’s dad, Joe Odom, so they could be as close as possible.

Lamar showed first showed signs of waking up by indicating that he wanted to see his children. He eventually stirred, said “Hey baby,” to Khloe, and gave her a thumbs up before going back to sleep. It’s thought that Khloe’s sweet words of “I love you,” to her estranged husband were what sparked him to wake up; the prospect of seeing his beloved children likely had much to do with that, too.

Lamar collapsed at a Nevada brothel on October 13, after allegedly shooting speedballs, ingesting 10 pills of Reload (herbal Viagra), and drinking to excess. His overdose put him into a deep coma, in which he required a breathing tube and ventilator to survive. Now, Lamar has been taken off the ventilator, and is showing signs of steady improvement. We can’t imagine the relief and happiness Liza is feeling!

Our thoughts remain with Lamar and his loved ones at this time.
