Lamar Odom, 35, was reportedly training in hopes of returning to the NBA in the weeks before he was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Not only was he hoping to play again, but a new report reveals he also reached out to specific coaches expressing his desire to get back into the game.
Wow. It sounds like Lamar may have been trying to get his career back on track before falling into a coma from an alleged overdose. As E! News has reported, Lamar was trying to “be in a more healthy place” as he prepared to get back on the basketball court shortly before his tragic incident.
“I did an interview with a former coach of his, Gary Charles, and he said that Lamar approached him, he wanted to train with him, and he said he wanted to get back personally and professionally,” Ken Baker reported from Las Vegas in the below video. Watch the rest for more details:

Could Lamar Make A Comeback Now?
As the video speculates, there is still a chance for Lamar’s career as a professional basketball player after this health scare. If this is in fact his “rock bottom,” it could be the inspiration and motivation he truly needs to focus on putting his life back together.
Plus, if Lamar can make that comeback, there’s an even greater chance he could also win back the love of his life, Khloe Kardashian, 31, before it’s too late.
