Kendall Jenner tried hard to focus on her photoshoot in London, but knowing that her family was thousands of miles away in the midst of a crisis had the model struggling to keep it together. Poor Kendall!
Kendall Jenner, 19, was distraught and downtrodden as her whole family gathered in Las Vegas to support Lamar Odom, 35, and his ongoing recovery while she was all the way in London. She was thousands of miles away from home and wracked with guilt about not being there for Khloe. Modeling is a dream, but staying close to her sisters is looking more and more important every day.
“Kendall was struggling with her emotions after everything that happened to Lamar,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Being thousands of miles away from home, and alone, she realized how much she missed her sisters, because she knows she can rely on them to help her through any troubles she has.”
This is so heartbreaking. Poor Kendall did everything she can to honor her work commitments, which she made months before Lamar slipped into a coma on October 13. Though Lamar miraculously woke up on October 16, and is showing signs of improvement, Kendall still feels terrible that she hasn’t been by Khloe’s side each and every step of the way. Being so far away from home all alone is anxiety-inducing in itself, but it’s completely understandable that Kendall is extra emotional with everything that’s happened in the past week.
“[Kendall] felt a bit guilty going to work, while Khloe kept vigil by Lamar’s bedside,” the source said. “But she’s happy to hear that Lamar is doing better and kept in constant contact with her sisters on the phone while away.”
We know that Khloe understands, and has surely told Kendall to keep her chin up and focus on work. She rushed out when Lamar was first hospitalized, but work sometimes has to come first. It’s so hard to be away form your family, especially when you’re that close. After finishing up work in London, Kendall headed straight back to Vegas!
