While Lamar Odom lay comatose, his exes, Liza Morales and Khloe Kardashian, united in a powerful show of pure love. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE on how these two joined hands by Lamar’s bed and told him how desperately they wanted him to ‘come back.’ Lamar must have heard them because he’s now awake!
The power of love may have pulled Lamar Odom, 35, from the brink of death. While the NBA star lay comatose in a Las Vegas hospital room, his exes, Liza Morales, 36, and Khloe Kardashian, 31, united in support of Lamar. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned how Khloe, Liza and Lamar’s kids — Lamar Odom Jr., 13, and Destiny Odom, 17, — broke down after telling Lamar how much they loved him!
Liza and her children joined Khloe and her family at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, on Oct. 14, after Lamar was taken there following his alleged overdose in a Nevada brothel. As Liza, Khloe and the two children watched as Lamar lay dying, they took a moment to make sure Lamar know how they felt about him.
“Khloe, Lamar Jr., Destiny and Liza all locked hand and formed a half-circle around Lamar’s bed,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. While they were holding hands, they spoke to him, “one-by-one, telling Lamar how much they love him and want him to come back.”
This incredible moment was almost too much for Lamar’s children as they both “broke down,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. Khloe then took a moment to comfort Lamar’s son. She “rubbed Lamar Jr.’s back and he struggled to get words out. She told him, ‘it’s all right baby, it’s all right.'” While she did that, Destiny found relief in the arms of her mother.
Khloe and Liza have “never really liked one another,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com, but during this crisis with Lamar, the two have put their differences aside. “They’re both equally emotionally drained,” the source said, “and they are leaning on one another for support and solidarity.”
In fact, after that wonderful moment where they locked hands, Khloe and Liza “had a brief moment to themselves where they hugged and cried.” Afterward, the source says they “apologized to each other for past fights and drama, all while at Lamar’s bedside.”
Khloe’s new friendship with Liza is just what she needs in order to survive this tragedy. Khloe needs people to be “present for her and her family,” William Moyers, Vice President of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. He also added that while Khloe remains there for Lamar, she needs her family to “stick together” and helping each other to make through this tragedy.
What do you think about Liza and Khloe using each other for support, HollywoodLifers?
