Khloe Kardashian’s prayers have been answered. Lamar Odom has woken from his coma, according to reports. An insider has also confirmed this to EXCLUSIVELY.

After 72 hours of being comatose and hooked up to life support machines, it appears that Lamar Odom, 35,  has miraculously started to recover, according to multiple reports, including E! Online and TMZ, as well as a insider source. Even more, Lamar has reportedly opened his eyes, and is no longer using a breathing tube, though he is still breathing with the assistance of an oxygen mask.  Will he be able to make a full recovery? Read on for more details.

“It’s a miracle! Lamar is slowly waking up and they have taken him off life support. He’s speaking and grabbing and moving his legs.” a source insists to EXCLUSIVELY. “Everyone is crying, hoping this means he will come out of this. Hopes are high but everyone is still very concerned. He’s not out of the woods yet, but it’s still very good news.”

A source told E! Online that Lamar is no longer using a breathing tube, and has fully woken up from being comatose since October 13. Apparently, Lamar opened his eyes on Friday, October 16, gazed at beautiful Khloe Kardashian, and said “Hey, baby.” He gave Khloe a thumbs up and drifted back to sleep. This is so heartwarming!

While Lamar has been taken off the breathing tube and ventilator, his doctors are still using a breathing mask in order to help him function on his own, according to TMZ. Doctors are apparently switching between using the ventilator and the breathing mask in order to gauge if Lamar is able to breath without intense life support. It’s a sign of improvement, but it should be noted that Lamar is still in a fragile state right now; it’s not yet clear if he’ll be able to make a full recovery. He’s certainly not out of the woods yet.

The fact that Lamar woke up and is able to breathe somewhat on his own is an incredible blessing for Khloe, as well as Lamar’s children, who have stayed strong since he was discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel after allegedly overdosing on speedballs, herbal Viagra and alcohol. He had been comatose ever since, hooked to the ventilator and reportedly suffered multiple strokes. Khloe never left his bedside the entire time he’s been in the hospital, sleeping fitfully on the floor. It’s our hope that she can rest easy now, hopefully able to leave the hospital with Lamar soon.

Lamar has begun what will no doubt be a very long recovery process. Our thoughts are with Lamar and his loved ones at this time.
