Kourtney has been hit very hard by this. Seeing Lamar lying on his death bed, she can’t help but imagine Scott hitting rock bottom. She’s scared to death for his life. It’s sickening for her, she’s scared for Scott, she’s scared for her kids, it’s just a terrifying situation,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“She isn’t talking about taking Scott back, it’s all about getting him healthy right now. But if he does truly get clean and sober and proves that he can stay that way then the odds are they will get back together. She’s hurt and angry and disgusted by him but she’s never stopped loving him,” the source added.
“This situation with Lama has softened her heart to Scott but it’s also made her want to get tougher with him too,” the source continued. “She doesn’t want to stand by and watch someone she loves kill themselves. The only reason Scott is getting help right now is because she finally got tough. Seeing Lamar so helpless and broken has made her realize she needs to stick to her guns with Scott. No sobriety, no family. It seems to be the only thing he’ll listen to. She hates to do it to him because she knows it’s so painful but she’s got to think of his health in the longterm. She believes it’s life or death for him, especially after seeing Lamar in the condition he’s in.”
In case you missed it, Lamar was found unconscious in a Navada brothel in his room on Oct. 13. He overdosed on drugs and spent two days in a comma. It is being reported that on Oct. 16, Lamar started to wake up.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lamar and all of his loved ones.
