Angelina Jolie looks absolutely breathtaking on the November 2015 cover of ‘Vogue’ magazine. Wearing a casual, nautical sweater, Angie looks more comfortable in her skin than ever before.
Angelina Jolie, 40, is always stunning, but this new Vogue cover is the opposite of a formal red carpet look — it’s a little undone, casual, cool, and best of all, she looks really happy. Find out how to get her glam look below.
Shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, Angelina wears a striped Saint Laurent By Hedi Slimane sweater.
Her hair is wavy and textured, and was styled by Adam Campbell. To get her undone, voluminous look, use a texturizing spray like Garnier Fructis De-Constructed Texture Tease on dry hair before using a curling iron to create a loose bend in your hair.
Her makeup was done by Toni G for MAC Cosmetics. She looks carefree and gorgeous in the shoot, and poses with husband Brad Pitt and their children.
Angelina Jolie On ‘Vogue’ Magazine — Talks About Being A Woman
On her decision to go public with her preventative double mastectomy, Angelina says: “It really connected me to other women. I wish my mom had been able to make those choices.”
She describes the procedures as “brutal. It’s hard. They are not easy surgeries. The ovaries are an easy surgery, but the hormone changes… interesting. We did joke that I had my Monday edit. Tuesday surgery. Wednesday go into menopause. Thursday come back to edit, a little funky with my steps.”
Angie is now past menopause and says, “I feel grounded as a woman. I know others do too. Both of the women in my family, my mother and my grandmother, started dying in their 40s [of ovarian cancer]. I’m 40. I can’t wait to hit 50 and know I made it.”
