5 Seconds of Summer released the music video for their latest single, ‘Hey Everybody’ and it pretty much relates to anyone who’s struggling to get by and just wants to live the good life! Who doesn’t want to dance around in a room with money flying everywhere?! Watch it here!
After days of teasing their fans, 5 Seconds of Summer finally dropped the music video for “Hey Everybody” and it may very well be their best one so far! The guys go from dog walking and working at children’s birthday parties to living it up inside a huge mansion where they can basically indulge in whatever they want! Watch the fun video here!
Omg! Were you as excited as we were to see this amazing video? 5SOS never disappoints, and the “Hey Everybody” video was no exception! The music video basically mirrors the lyrics in their uplifting pop song. The Aussie cuties go from working dead end jobs to being able to live it up in a huge mansion with waiters, a ton of money, and almost everything at their fingertips for just one day.
Eventually all of their dreams came true! At the end of the video, Luke Hemmings became the CEO of his own business, Michael Clifford opened up a successful food truck, Calum Hood got his own dog training show on cable TV and Ashton Irwin went on to become a mascot for a Canadian sports team. Amazing, right? After seeing this video, 5SOS fans finally understood why there was a picture of Calum walking a ton of dogs making its rounds on the internet a couple of months ago!
On the Australian band’s website, the announcement on October 15 that their new video would be premiering showed two burly, bearded men wearing wrestling leotards and face paint. Totally cryptic, right? But it all made sense once the video premiered!
The first teaser of the video — just an 11 second little snippet — showed the guys hurling themselves down a huge slip-n-slide in front of a gorgeous white mansion before rocking it out in a garage. Things made so much more sense after that!
