Fitz is not messing around. After Abby was forced to through Olivia under the bus to save Fitz’s presidency, Fitz ends up firing Abby in a fit of rage on the Oct. 15 episode. Click to WATCH!

Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) is pretty torn up over Olivia (Kerry Washington) being cast as the dirty mistress to the world, and he wants someone to blame. On the Oct. 15 episode of Scandal, Fitz goes off on Liz (Portia de Rossi) on how the media is treating Olivia and fires Abby (Darby Stanchfield) in the middle of his rant.

Fitz is completely disgusted with how the media is portraying Olivia to the media after she was painted as an opportunistic mistress. He can’t believe that talk shows are giving estimates on how many men she’s slept with and guessing what age she lost her virginity.

Even though Olivia was the one who orchestrated the whole thing, Fitz still holds Abby responsible. “Gabby tied her hands,” Fitz says in the clip, getting Abby’s name wrong again

Liz wants Fitz to just focus on his presidency, but Fitz just can’t. Abby walks in the room, and Fitz immediately says, “You’re fired.” She tries to plead her case, but Fitz won’t let her. “Do not talk,” Fitz continues. “You are done talking. You are fired.”

Holy nuts. Looks like Fitz just fired his press secretary. Is he really serious about it, though? This could be what brings Abby back to OPA. The Gladiators would finally be back together again. If that’s the case, who will Fitz get to replace Abby? Cyrus (Jeff Perry) is looking for a job. (Just kidding, but still.)

Scandal airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
