There’s a new villain on the way in season 6B of ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ and executive producer Marlene King told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he/she is ‘more lethal’ than ‘A’ ever was. OMG.
Just when you thought the girls had experienced enough drama because of “A,” there’s a new big bad coming to Pretty Little Liars. HollywoodLife.com got the chance to talk to Marlene King about what’s in store for season 6B, and it sounds crazy. She says the new PLL foe is NOT “playing a game.”
“The new big bad — I wont say if it’s a he or a she. We think it’s a he right now, but you never know,” Marlene told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at New York Comic-Con on Oct. 9. “But the new big bad is more lethal. The new big bad isn’t playing a game. The new big bad has an agenda and will not stop at anything before that agenda is taken care of.”
When the show picks up in season 6B, it’s five years later. The girls have changed a lot since we last saw them. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is very “successful,” Aria (Lucy Hale) becomes a publisher, Allison (Sasha Pieterse) is a teacher, Hanna (Ashley Benson) is a fashion designer and Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) a bartender. There are “new secrets and new lies,” Sasha teased at NYCC. We have a feeling we’re not ready.
Pretty Little Liars season 6B will premiere January 12, 2016, with a special episode airing Nov. 24.
