Sadly, the news is not looking good for Khloe and all of Lamar’s loved ones, as doctors say his condition has deteriorated, according to a new report.
Lamar Odom, 35, has shown no signs of improvement as he battles for his life, dashing hopes that he will recover, reports TMZ. The former NBA star’s kidneys, heart and lungs are still failing and doctors have told loved ones that his lack of improvement is a bad sign. “The doctors are concerned it has been too long that he’s been in this condition, and now it’s not looking good,” says the news outlet.
Doctors are telling Lamar’s family and friends to expect the worst; the longer he remains in such dire straights, trapped in a coma and likely with massive brain damage, the less likely he is to survive the brutal incident. Though it was reported that Lamar squeezed Khloe Kardashian‘s hand on the night of Wednesday, October 14 — a moment that inspired hope — with no signs of improvement on Thursday, October 15, doctors say it could have just been an involuntary movement. Poor, poor Khloe!
Lamar has four vital organs continuing to fail after being discovered unconscious and unresponsive, face-down at a Las Vegas brothel on October 13. As of October 14, doctors have given Lamar a terrifying 50/50 chance of surviving this ordeal. He’s surrounded by legions of loved ones, including Khloe and her family, his two children, and ex Liza Morales.
Lamar has reportedly had several strokes while in the hospital. While he struggles to awake from his coma, it’s even more devastating to imagine that he could never recover at all. Earlier, it was reported that Reload, the herbal Viagra Lamar had been taking during his stay at the brothel was so dangerous, that the FDA issued a recall of the medicine in 2013! Combined with copious amounts of alcohol, and a reported cocktail of “virtually every drug known to man,” Lamar was dabbling in incredibly terrifying territory. We can only hope that doctors are mistaken, and that he pulls through quickly and safely!
Our thoughts remain with Lamar and his loved ones at this time.
