“She wonders if there was anything more she should have done,” a source told People. “Kim [Kardashian West] has told her that this isn’t her fault,” but Khloe is definitely “facing some guilt issues with this.”
Although Khloe and Lamar both signed divorce papers in July, they are still legally married since a judgment has not yet been entered in court. This means Khloe is responsible for making medical decisions for him. “She never dreamed that she’d have these responsibilities, and it’s just so overwhelming and unexpected,” the source said. “She had been thinking of him as an ex, so to find out that, ‘No, you have to do this.’ Well that’s really hard for her.”
“Kris [Jenner] is giving some advice, but everyone else is basically just being there for her, letting her vent and talk about it,” the source went on. “But no one is going to tell her what she should do, because that’s her decision. We’re all praying that she finds the strength and wisdom she needs right now,” the source says. “Obviously, though, Lamar’s the one who needs the most prayers.”
To recap the last 48 hours, Lamar was found unconscious at the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada, on Oct. 13. The frightening 911 call made from the Nevada brothel revealed that Lamar had “white stuff coming out of his nose” when he was found. He was allegedly on a four-day bender and using crack cocaine before his hospitalization. He remains in critical condition at this moment.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lamar and all of his loved ones during this difficult time.
