As Lamar Odom continues to fight for his life while in a coma, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and the rest of the family have finally broken their silence. The Kardashians shared a heartfelt message and are stoping all publishing on their personal apps. Read it here.

Kim Kardashian, 34, Kylie Jenner, 18, and the rest of the Kardashians dropped everything to be with Khloe Kardashian, 31, when they learned that Lamar Odom, 35, was fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital. Now, the family has broken their silence for the first time about the tragic situation. Read their sweet message to Lamar here.

The Kardashians and Jenners collectively gave a statement through their personal apps in regards to Lamar’s dire situation. “As a family, we’ve decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar,” their statement reads. “Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”

The former basketball player appeared to have made some progress on Oct. 14 when Lamar reportedly “briefly fluttered open his eyes and squeezed Kim’s hand.” Though these signs of improvement are exciting, Lamar sadly still faces an extremely tough road ahead. With his kidneys and heart both reportedly failing, he has been placed on dialysis, and his condition remains critical.

Additionally, Lamar has reportedly suffered multiple strokes since being admitted to the hospital, which is very concerning considering the fact that each stroke increases the likelihood that he will permanently enter a state of vegetation or death. “If he was down for long enough he will be gone, he’ll be in fruit and vegetable state,” Dr. John O’Dea revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY.

Lamar’s family and friends are holding out hope that he’ll pull through, but they also understand the seriousness of his condition. “[The Kardashians are] pretty sure this is goodbye, but they’re praying for a miracle,” a source told People magazine. “They know that God has the power to heal him, but that’s really the last hope at this point. This is really bad.”

As previously reported, Lamar is currently suffering from a drug overdose.“Virtually every drug imaginable was found in his system,” a source told E! News.  The source went on to explain that doctors at Sunrise Hospital are treating the situation as an “overdose,” adding that there “likely is brain damage, but they’re not sure how much.” At this time, Lamar remains unconscious and breathing only with the help of a ventilator.
