Get ready for another new 1D song, Directioners! The boys of One Direction revealed that they will be releasing their next single, ‘Perfect’ on Oct. 16, and they’ve given fans a taste of the song just a few days before it drops! Hear the first clip here!

As if One Direction hasn’t already blown us away with their new tunes “Drag Me Down” and “Infinity,” they are totally about to do it again! The 1D guys announced their next single, “Perfect,” on Oct. 9, but on Oct. 13, they revealed it was only a few short days until Directioners get to hear the third track from their upcoming album Made in the A.M.! Even better, they previewed the song with a teaser clip…and of course, it’s amazing!

After announcing that “Perfect” will officially premiere on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show Oct. 16, the show’s host Nick Grimshaw got fans even more excited when he surprised them with a clip of the tune! In the clip, Harry Styles belts out, “If you like to do whatever you’ve been dreaming out, baby you’re perfect. Baby you’re perfect, so let’s start right now.” It may only be 15 seconds long, but that’s enough for us to be convinced that this song is going to be nothing but “Perfect”!

Before the song’s official release date was revealed, The Sun leaked what were supposedly lyrics to the track. The lyrics from the sneak peek clip happened to be included in the leak — and fans immediately speculated that the song was about Harry’s ex Taylor Swift! Considering Taylor’s 1989 featured numerous songs about Harry (“Style” and “Out Of The Woods,” to name two), we wouldn’t doubt it if at least one of the Made in the A.M. songs was about her! Now that we’ve heard this clip, we’re definitely thinking it could be this one!

Even if Harry or the rest of the 1D boys never admit that “Perfect” really is about Taylor, we already know we’re going to be playing this song on repeat as soon as it comes out. But for now, these 15 seconds will hold us over just fine!

What do you think of the “Perfect” clip, HollywoodLifers? Is this going to be their best single yet? Let us know your thoughts below!
