Lamar Odom, 35, continues to fight for his life. The NBA champion and former Los Angeles Lakers star has been in a Las Vegas hospital since he was discovered passed out and face down on Oct. 13. What happened to Lamar? The Nevada sheriff’s department will answer some of the lingering questions of what went down.

Lamar was found unconscious at in his room at the Love Ranch South brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. Lamar was reportedly partying hard with the ladies there, and was first reported to have taken an herbal substitute for Viagra. Two of the bordello’s staff (later revealed to be Monica Monroe and Ryder Cherry) called 911 after they reportedly saw that fluid coming out of Lamar’s mouth.
An ambulance first took Lamar to the Desert View Hospital, before he was transported to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Lamar’s estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, flew to his bedside after hearing this devastating news. She was joined by her family, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
Lamar was reportedly in a coma. He’s reportedly battling heart failure, while suffering problems with both his kidneys and lungs. Lamar was reportedly in “high spirits” days before he was found unresponsive. He was also reportedly on a four-day bender of drinking and partying. Doctors reportedly discovered drugs in Lamar’s system, including crack cocaine, and the ex-Laker allegedly had track marks on his arms.
He reportedly suffered an “ischemic stroke,” the result of a blood clot preventing blood flow to the brain. This type of stroke is reportedly associated with cocaine overdose, as well as other drug use. Lamar was allegedly doing crack throughout the weekend leading up to his reported stroke.
Though he hasn’t played in the NBA since 2013, Lamar remains beloved by his former teammates and opponents. Kobe Bryant reportedly raced to Lamar’s side, and NBA star Dwyane Wade was praying for his bro.
