Details about what what happened to Lamar were revealed by the Nye County Sheriff’s department during an Oct. 14 press conference. Sheriff Wehrly explained what went down the night Lamar passed out, prompting the call for help. Listen to the calls below:
Lamar was first discovered by two prostitutes, Monica Monroe and Ryder Cherry. Shortly thereafter, paramedics rushed Lamar to the Desert View Hospital in Pahrump, Nevada before transporting him to the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
Early reports claimed Lamar suffered an “ischemic stroke,” or a blood clot blocking blood flow to his brain. These kinds of strokes are reportedly frequently associated with heavy cocaine use, as well as other drugs. Lamar allegedly had “virtually every drug” in his system and was paying the price. Lamar was reportedly battling heart failure and his kidneys were also reportedly shutting down.
