Nevada authorities have released the chilling call made to 911 when Lamar Odom was found unresponsive in a room at the Love Ranch brothel. In three separate clips from the call, you can hear the ranch’s media director explain that Lamar had ‘white stuff coming out of his nose.’ Click to listen.
Lamar Odom, 35, was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel by two of the staff members on Oct. 13, and the panicked calls to 911 have now been made available to the public. In the three disturbing voice clips, Richard Hunter, who is the media director of the Love Ranch where Lamar had been found, explains that an unidentified substance was coming out of Lamar’s nose and mouth. So horrific. You can hear the calls inside, but we will advise, they are difficult listening.
Details about what what happened to Lamar were revealed by the Nye County Sheriff’s department during an Oct. 14 press conference. Sheriff Wehrly explained what went down the night Lamar passed out, prompting the call for help. Listen to the calls below:
Lamar was first discovered by two prostitutes, Monica Monroe and Ryder Cherry. Shortly thereafter, paramedics rushed Lamar to the Desert View Hospital in Pahrump, Nevada before transporting him to the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
Lamar was reportedly partying hard during the days leading up to his tragedy, going on a reported four-day bender of alcohol and, allegedly, drugs. Doctors at the Sunrise Hospital reportedly found evidence of crack cocaine in his system, and allegedly, track marks on his arms.
Early reports claimed Lamar suffered an “ischemic stroke,” or a blood clot blocking blood flow to his brain. These kinds of strokes are reportedly frequently associated with heavy cocaine use, as well as other drugs. Lamar allegedly had “virtually every drug” in his system and was paying the price. Lamar was reportedly battling heart failure and his kidneys were also reportedly shutting down.
Lamar’s family and friends quickly rushed to his side. His estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, flew to his hospital room and his former teammate, Kobe Bryant, also reportedly raced to see his close friend.
Our thoughts and support continue to go out to Lamar, his friends and his family.
