Hillary Clinton burned Republicans during the first Democratic debate. When addressing Republicans’ complaints that paid maternity leave would create more ‘big government,’ Hillary pointed out that they don’t mind it when government restricts a woman’s right to choose!
She is mad as hell and she’s not going to take it anymore! Hillary Clinton, 67, tore into Republicans and their “sympathizers” during the first Democratic Debate. When debate moderator Dana Bash, 44, asked Hillary about the complaints that paid maternity leave will make another “big government” program, Hillary went off!
Paid maternity leave for mothers was one of the many issues discussed during the Oct. 13 debate. When it was Hillary’s turn to offer her opinion, Dana asked her about complaints that expanding paid maternity leave would create one more “government program” that would come “at the expense of taxpayers.” Oh boy — Hill Dog could not hold back her anger!
“You know, Republicans and their sympathizers — they say ‘you can’t have paid leave,’ ‘you can’t provide health care.’ They don’t mind having big government interfere with a woman’s right to choose and take down Planned Parenthood,” the former Secretary of State said. “They’re fine with big government when it comes to that. I’m sick of it!”
Oh, SNAP! Hillary just stone cold dissed the entire Republican party, which claims to be in favor of a small, limited government. Hillary thinks they have no issue with “big government” when it controls women’s reproduction rights. The Republicans led the vote in the House of Representatives to defund Planned Parenthood after “heavily edited” videos reportedly showed abortion doctors talking about selling fetal tissue. Hillary scored points by pointing out her opponent’s hypocrisy during this first debate. Is this presidential diss the first victory on her road to the White House?
Hillary wasn’t the only person “sick of it” at the Debate. Senator Bernie Sanders was also fed up with the controversy over her private email server! “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damned emails,” Bernie said, and Hillary agreed. “We have 27 million people living in poverty. We have massive wealth and inequality. It’s cost us millions of decent jobs,” Bernie continued. “Enough of the emails. Let’s talk about the real issues facing America.” Right on, Bernie!
What do you think about Hillary’s diss of the “big government” Republicans, HollywoodLifers?
