So, it’s a baby girl, eh? Bristol Palin took to her blog to announce that she is in fact, expecting her first daughter. The news comes after the outspoken young mother bashed the government for allowing young girls to get birth control.
Bristol Palin, 24, wants everyone to know that she will be a mother to a baby girl. The announcement came via blog post on Oct 10, where she discussed her issues with birth control. She also poked fun at herself for having TWO “baby daddies.”
Bristol took to her blog to discuss her disgust with the government allowing young girls to take birth control and revealed she’s going to be a mom to a girl herself. In her post, she states, “You have to get a parents approval to take aspirin or ibuprofen at school, you have to have your parents present to go tanning in a tanning bed, or get your eye brows waxed, or get your belly button or ears pierced. But girls as young as 10 – YES I SAID 10 – can get an IUD put in without their parents knowing?… How is that NOT black and white to people?”
She didn’t stop there. Bristol tried to poke fun at herself for having not one, but TWO “baby daddies” — which isn’t funny at all actually. “I know I’m the last to talk about birth control. (Two baby daddies right? LOLZ!). But I am expecting a girl and do have a 14 year old sister and I would be so concerned for her going into a clinic and having something pretty serious put into her body.”
She also shared the news on Instagram. In the pic, Bristol is smiling while wrapping her arms around her baby bump. She is sticking to black clothing these day and is wearing an all black outfit with brown boots. She captioned the snap, “7.5 months with my baby girl.”
Bristol Fires Back: Pregnancy Wasn’t A Mistake
Bristol previously fired back at all the comments that claimed she was ungrateful to be pregnant. “I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on,” Bristol wrote in her blog post. “But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two.”
