Rihanna looks stunning as she goes back to beauty basics on the cover of ‘T: The New York Times Style’ magazine. The singer sports highlighted skin, bold brows and a bronze smokey eye fit for any occasion.
At 27-years-old, Rihanna has already made quite the name for herself outside of the music industry as a style icon. Her fashion risks and signature edgy style have scored her campaigns with Dior and Puma, plus she’s created several fragrances, so it only makes sense that T magazine would name her one of “The Greats” in their inaugural culter-centered issue.
Rihanna shared the cover shot to her Instagram on October 12, and T mag quickly shared it as well, including several black and white shots from her photo shoot with quotes from her interview: “In one of our six #TGreatscover stories, @badgalriri tells@mirandajuly she does all her Instagramming herself. “That’s the only way it’ll actually work. My fans can sniff the BS from very far away. I cannot trick them.” Portraits by Craig McDean, styled by @melzy917.”
While Rihanna’s dark lipstick looks can be hard to pull off for everyday wear, this time around, she gave us a shimmery skin and bronze eye makeup look that everyone can wear. Once you apply your base, blend a liquid illuminator like Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Illuminizer along your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose and at your cupid’s bow.
Create a metallic smokey eye with shimmery champagne and rich brown eyeshadow shades from the Ciaté London Smokey Suedes Eye Palette, and create oversized, slightly clumpy lashes like Rihanna’s with Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Chaotic Lash Mascara.

Rihanna’s simple hairstyle showed off her face even more by keeping it pulled back, and the few pieces left loose gave a softer feel to the look.
Is this your favorite beauty moment of Rihanna’s yet, HollywoodLifers? Or do you prefer her bolder beauty looks?
