Oh no! This would make Darth Vader happy. ‘Star Wars’ hero Luke Skywalker is shockingly crushed to death in a new video game clip based on the hit movie! Click to WATCH!
Thankfully, it’s only a video game! A new YouTube video of Star Wars: Battlefront has gone viral, but probably for the wrong reasons. Watch as movie hero Luke Skywalker gets stomped on by an AT-AT in this leaked 44-second video of the game.
We’re sure it’s not supposed to happen this way, but in the preview, which is a sample from the Beta test of the game, the player can be seen aiming a few shots at the Jedi master from a distance. This clearly angers Luke, who charges in attack.
With the Star Wars theme firmly in place, everything seems great until, out of nowhere, an AT-AT eliminates the threat by treading on Luke… not once, but twice! Cue hilarious slapstick sound effect as Luke is pounded into the icy terrain and left sticking just inches out of the ground!
We have to say, it almost reminds us of when Luke gets trapped in a garbage compactor in Episode IV: A New Hope with Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca. But at least he got out of that one alive!
As for the game, Star Wars: Battlefront allows the player to take part in the Star Wars saga’s biggest battles. Depending on who you’re rooting for, you can fight for either the Rebellion or Empire with multiplayer matches that can feature up to 40 players.
Star Wars: Battlefront also boasts some of the most iconic planets, weapons, characters from the film, as well as the original sound effects that we’ve all mimicked growing up, so it’s as authentic as it gets.
The game is scheduled to be released Nov. 17 and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Will you be getting a copy, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
