‘Walking Dead’ fans are so excited for the season six premiere but don’t expect Daryl Dixon to be falling in love. In a brand new interview with ‘Details’ magazine, Norman Reedus drops a major bombshell about his character.
Everyone loves Daryl Dixon [Norman Reedus] on The Walking Dead but don’t expect to see this bad boy fall for anyone this season. Norman, 46, tells Details that he’s “the last in line for love.” Ugh, we really had our hopes up but perhaps things will change throughout the course of this highly anticipated season.
“Even this season, I’m the last in line for love,” he said. “I like not going through that door one way or another. I like that mystery.” So for those of us hoping Carol [Melissa McBride] would fall in love with the motorcycle riding star, it doesn’t sound like it’s in the cards.
“They’ll kill me whenever they want,” he Norman added about the writers for the hit AMC show. “I would hate to leave the show. I would play this role until I’m 80, I really would. And I could.” He also said this: “As far as his relationship with Aaron and Eric. Daryl judges people not just by what they say but what they do. Stand-up people are the only people you can trust in that world, so that makes Daryl a very compassionate person. And that’s one of the reasons that character is popular.”
Get excited because The Walking Dead season 6 premieres Oct. 11 at 9 pm on AMC.
