A new One Direction single is coming! Harry Styles shared the news with fans on Twitter on Oct. 9, confirming the name of the third single off their upcoming album, ‘Made In The A.M.’ One thing’s for sure — it’s going to be ‘perfect.’
We sill can’t get One Direction’s first single “Drag Me Down” out of our heads, and yet, the the band is already making plans for the song’s follow-up! Harry Styles, 21, confirmed the new for fans on Oct. 9, tweeting out the song’s ‘perfect’ title. Now, the only question that remains is: when will it be released?!
It’s official: “Perfect” is the next of the next single from the band’s fifth studio album Made in the A.M., which drops on Nov. 13. The news was confirmed on Oct. 9, after Harry Styles took to Twitter to share the news with fans. “Our next single is called ‘Perfect,'” he tweeted. “Looking forward to you hearing it, hope that you like those apples.”
Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when the single will be released, although with just five weeks left until the album drops, we’re betting that it’s going to happen some time in the very near future.
In addition to confirming the single’s name, 1D also released the first look at the single’s cover art — you know, as if fans weren’t already excited enough. In the photo, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry can be seen posing side by side, each giving off a smoldering gaze, except for Liam, who shows off his winning smile. Oddly enough, the release came on the same day that Justin Bieber, 18, revealed his album’s cover art to the world, sparking further rumors of a feud between the two competing musical acts.
As you might recall, drama stirred after One Direction announced that they would be releasing their album on Nov. 13, weeks after Justin had announced that he would be releasing his fourth studio album, Purpose, on the same day. While 1D and the Biebs appeared to be enjoying the friendly competition with their playful Snapchat videos, Justin later revealed that the feud may not have been as innocent as we once thought. “[They’re] not really going on the road much, but we’re talking about them now, so it gives them some promo, right,” the “Baby” singer told a New Zealand radio station on Oct 5. “So, that’s probably why they did it. I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first. But, whatever. It’s whatever. It’s gonna be fun. I’m excited to see what happens.”
As are we Justin. As are we.
